If you have it anywhere else, be sure to change line 3 above to point to the correct directory. I this case the FTB_Launcher.jar is in a directory named FTB on my Desktop. Open any standard text editor (TextEdit on OS X is very sufficient) and in a new file enterĮxport JAVA_HOME=/System/Library/Frameworks/amework/Versions/1.6/HomeĬd ~/Desktop/FTB/ # <- Change this to the directory with FTB_Launcher.jar My work around for this issue is to run FTB with Java 6 instead. Fun fact though: An aquaintance, who is a Senior Developer at Oracle in Sweden (owner of Java), has told me of the frequent changes being prioritized do to the heavy use of Minecraft users. The error occurs in the Light Weight Java Gaming Library (aka lwjgl) though I have no issues with the latest vanilla Minecraft which also uses lwjgl. The OS X version of the Java 7 has certain issues with some mods for some reason. I am a Mac using developer/gamer and sometimes this causes things to be a little more difficult, (unlike most of the time when I find a Unix based OS much easier).įTB (an the same for Tekkit) is one of those times.
